Miguel Angel Camiletti Sáez
Miguel Ángel Camiletti Sáez is an engineer with dual nationality (Chilean-Italian). He was born on August 9, 1970, in Santiago de Chile. As a child he was a lover of literature and art, but it was in his adulthood, after graduating from university, that he began his artistic-literary exploration. His childhood and adolescence took place during the seventies and part of the eighties, in the suburbs of the western sector of the capital. From his youth, he began to acquire skills in the business world, where he developed various technological ventures.Due to his tireless investigative, analytical and intellectual spirit, during the nineties, Miguel Ángel became one of the most suitable people in the fight against computer viruses in Latin America. He was part of the executive staff of some companies in the Chilean technological sector, where he became the main promoter of innovation and digital development. After the Antuco tragedy, which occurred on May 18, 2005, in the city of Los Angeles –eighth region– and in memory of a loved one, Miguel Ángel created and directed the now defunct website Héroes de Antuco. In it, along with remembering the 45 victims, harsh criticism and analysis of the political and social situation of the time were made. The page became an obligatory reference for public and private agents, national and international, such as: the Ministry of the Interior or the morning paper The New York Times, who obtained from it ideas of varying depth: outlines of plans, strategic proposals of interest and social sensitivity. He was a technology teacher in public and private educational institutions. Likewise, he has collaborated in non-profit organizations, some related to overcoming poverty, rescue and rehabilitation of drug addictions. In 2011, he led the development and technological implementation of the first national registration system for Firefighters in Chile. The first in the history of a noble institution with more than 160 years of tradition. The initiative brought together the University of Chile, along with a staff of engineers from the Faculty of Computer Engineering of this prestigious university.Miguel Ángel also ventured into politics, where he developed leadership roles, adhering to a constructive criterion, which earned him recognition and affection from his peers. This, at a time when traditional Chilean politics was highly discredited by high-profile cases of corruption.Currently, and for more than twenty-five years, Miguel Ángel resides in the commune of Maipú, Santiago de Chile.Temporarily removed from the whirlwind of business and politics, he has focused on deepening his studies of metaphysics, spirituality and energy, subjects that he has been addressing since 2005 and which he openly expresses in his novels. These works suggest an alternative perspective to understand known spiritual systems.
